National Disability Employment Awareness Month
October 2021 marks the 76th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month—the opportunity to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities.

Prince George's Provider Council Seventh Annual Virtual Employment Awards. Register. $20
APSE is the only national organization focused exclusively on Employment First to facilitate the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace and community.
A collective of American Job Centers, community-based organizations, government agencies and faith-based organizations providing a full range of services connecting job seekers to employment and businesses to qualified job seekers in Prince George’s County.
Held each October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month is led by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP).
For schools, NDEAM presents an opportune time to discuss the topic of disability employment with students, particularly those at an age when they are considering career options and learning about the world of work.
