Terraia joins Ardmore’s leadership team with 12 years of progressive experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Her professional career was launched in the nonprofit industry where she provided transportation support services in a traditional day program. Over the years, Terraia has worked in various positions delivering services to various populations such as mental health, behavioral health, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her early IDD career includes roles in residential services as a DSP (direct support professional) and as a house manager. She also has experience as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and certified medication technician.
Before joining the Ardmore team, Terraia served six years with Compass, Inc., first as Manager of Community Services and most recently, as Interim Director of Community Day and Employment Services. She earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Ashford University and certifications from APSE (Association of People Supporting Employment First) and from Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) as a Mandt instructor.
Terraia has a passion for inspiring people with supportive needs. She is committed to building positive relationships and fostering growth for the people supported by Ardmore, their families, her colleagues, and other stakeholders.
